A special project with our friends at Matthiasson Wines, this remarkable single barrel spirit was crafted by finishing our Abruzzi Rye Whiskey in French oak Napa Valley White Wine barrels.
The pursuit of flavor
Wine and whiskey react differently when in contact with the barrel. The rye whiskey will penetrate all the way through the wood fibers formerly occupied by the wine, pulling fresh flavor notes from the unused French oak, and marrying them with exquisite Napa Valley white wine.
